Back at work...
Becky and Sam and Luke left this morning for Portland, where they'll stay for a while before heading to Wales. It was sad, but the good kind of sad: when you know you've had a really good time and been really lucky to spend so much of it with people (and dogs) you love so much. Now I'm going to pull it together and do my job, so that I don't lose the house.

Oh, Liz. I bet the house is feeling a little empty. Be sure to have people over for drinks, often. Like, you know, two fugitive Californians and a cat.

We miss you lots!
Luke has of course completely forgotten you, as he's already had 4 rawhides (we've been here an hour tops). But I suppose that's not entirely true, as he did automatically go outside when Yvette (Sam's grandma) went outside to smoke. Luke's a great smoke-buddy.
